What I do

I'm a software engineer and the founder of Saltwaves, a software consultancy. We build our own products and work with ambitious startups, from early MVPs to production systems.

I work across the full stack and move between disciplines depending on what the project needs:

• Frontend. React, Vue, Tailwind, reactive apps. Interfaces that feel fast and work properly.
• Backend. PHP, databases, CI/CD, and whatever else the project calls for. If it needs building, I'll build it.
• Mobile. React Native. Cross-platform apps that don't feel like cross-platform apps.
• AI. Constantly experimenting. Using AI tools daily to build faster and push into things that weren't possible a year ago.

What I'm building

I'm always working on something. These are the current projects:

• Disco. A social media app built around music. Share what you're listening to, discover new sounds through the people you follow.
• Hatch. A simple local development tool for Mac. Dev environments without the headache.
• Canopy. Git management, simplified.
• Manifold. More on this soon.

How I work

I like small teams, clear problems, and shipping things. I don't do drawn-out discovery phases or committees. If you've got something worth building and you need someone who can move fast across the stack, that's what Saltwaves does.
